Biomattone® combines hemp shiv and a natural binder in a single building envelope solution.
The combination of insulation and mass gives the building envelope a dynamic behavior. It is not just insulation: it is also the ability to delay and dampen peak heat. Insulating with mass therefore means stabilizing. The BIOMATTONE® envelope system is thus a mineral-plant masonry with hygroactive behavior, which insulates and stabilizes indoor thermo-hygrometric conditions.
